Whether your client has been living with disability since birth or you would like to be better prepared should your client experience illness or injury that leads to disability - this session is for you. Families often look to professional advisors for guidance and if you haven’t had to delve in, do the research and consider the issues for SMSFs it may feel overwhelming. Come along to hear about some of the issues and tips just in case you experience new or existing clients who wish to establish a new SMSF or continue to operate an SMSF where members are living with disability.

Caroline is Senior Counsel – SMSF at Greenfields SMSF Lawyers in Melbourne.

Caroline has become a regular presenter on superannuation and estate planning for the financial services industry. With specialised expertise in compliance, rectifications, planning for loss of capacity and LRBA transactions; Caroline has experience in helping trustees located across Australia.

Having worked in investment and retail banking, family law, and with Australia’s largest professional trustee company; Caroline has a wide knowledge of issues impacting self managed superannuation funds (SMSFs), their members and trustees.

Caroline writes for various publications on superannuation and SMSF related topics. She has also worked with the NSW Law Society and The College of Law to run educational programs for the legal profession on issues relating to superannuation and SMSF’s.

She is a SMSF Specialist AdvisorTM, a member of Women in Super and a Committee Member of the Victorian State Chapter of the SMSF Association. Caroline holds two Bachelor’s Degrees and a Master’s Degree.
