Summary

Daniel Lum is a Certified Financial Planner(CFP) and a Certified Practising Accountant(CPA). He has a degree in Bachelor of Business (Finance & Accounting) with UTS. He holds the Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning with the Securities Institute of Australia and he is a Fellow of FINSA. Daniel is also a SMSF Specialist Advisor with SMSF Association. Daniel is the Director and Financial Planner at ICare Wealth Management since 2011. His previous role was a Planner at a financial planning firm which managed approximately $250 million of funds under advice, and serviced clients from Australia, mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Daniel currently hosts a weekly radio program at 2ac Australian Chinese Radio call “The Financial News”. He was also regular host of a talkback radio program at the Chinese Radio Network (2CR). The radio programs focused on finance and investment related issues and has an audience in excess of 100,000 in Sydney, and Melbourne. In addition, he is also a regular presenter to the community (in Cantonese, Mandarin and English) on financial issues, especially on retirement planning and SMSFs. Daniel is very proficient in the technical aspects of financial and tax planning, especially in the area of retirement planning and SMSFs.
