Summary
I approach auditing of SMSF’s with zeal! I love auditing and always have done. Although my role is necessarily to look for errors and non-compliance, I aim to work “with” either the trustees of the fund or their accountant to bring about an acceptable solution when problems arise.
My hope for the future is that people who have their own Self-Managed Superannuation Fund will exercise the right to select an auditor who is completely independent of their accountant or financial advisor.
About me
My children once bought me a fridge magnet that said “everyone’s entitled to my opinion”. I know I am out spoken on things which are important to me and becoming older allows me to voice my opinions more confidently.
This is the way I approach my work and my whole life. I ride my bicycle with passion whenever I can and have found this not only increases my fitness but also my happiness. I am unable to ride my bike without smiling, possibly it’s an inane grin! Sometimes I also sing on my bike, but please don’t tell anybody.
I am fiercely proud of my two daughters who have achieved wonderful things already and are strong and lovely women. I worry about them constantly but know that they must go and have the adventures I had when I was young.
