SMSF Association Submission – House Select Committee – Inquiry into cyber security for small to medium sized businesses and organisations

The SMSF Association welcomes the opportunity to provide this submission to the House of Representatives Select Committee on Cyber Security regarding its inquiry into cyber security for small to medium sized businesses and organisations.

Many of our members work in, own or advise small and medium-sized accounting, audit and financial advice practices. These businesses hold significant amounts of sensitive financial and personal information and are increasingly reliant on cloud-based software, third-party applications and external technology providers in delivering professional services.
