National Conference is virtually here

With the largest in-person SMSF Conference just around the corner, the SMSF Association has today released its curated virtual program for this much-anticipated event.

Being held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on February 22-24, the SMSF Association is now offering selected plenary and concurrent sessions as virtual sessions.

SMSF Association CEO, John Maroney says: “Offering some sessions as virtual sessions will give those individuals who are either unable or would prefer not to attend in person an opportunity to experience this high calibre event.”

“The Association is proud to have a national member base located across the country, so the ability for us to include as many of our members as possible in our flagship annual event is very exciting.”

The curated virtual conference program allows both live and on-demand access to select sessions, covering several popular topics including a legislative update from SMSF Association Deputy CEO/Director of Policy and Education, Peter Burgess, a timely session titled “Digital Assets and SMSFs Bee Alert or Bee Alarmed” with Sladen Legal Principal, Phil Broderick and Craig Day’s session on passing the work test.

Maroney says: “Although attending in person provides the ultimate learning and networking experience, we want to ensure all those working in the superannuation advice sector can participate to some degree in National Conference 2023.”

CPD points will be offered for virtual registrations, with up to 22 hours available.
