Dean was the inaugural winner Now Infinity Best SMSF Strategy Award, 2015 Regional winner AMPFP Adviser of the Year and the CEO & Founder of Diversified Financial Planners (25 years) specialising in Self Managed Super Funds (SMSFs) and complex advice areas. Starting in the financial planning industry in 1999, Dean mainly focused on insurance and retail super funds. Soon after, estate planning took his interest because advice was poor across the industry. In 2005, he made the decision to focus on SMSFs which allowed him to use a variety of strategies where he could add value, combined with the much needed estate planning advice which evolved into specialising in complex and technical strategies. Experiencing the most life has to offer is important to Dean. Balance is achieved through his interests from snowboarding, skiing, indoor rock climbing, scuba diving, hiking, travel and being a mild star wars fan! Dean, in conjunction with the Diversified Team, is passionate about helping people and building great relationships. Offering an end-to-end service for his clients, rather than transactional services.
