I have been working in the SMSF industry for over 20 years. As a Chartered accountant, I have provided advice on self-managed super funds since the 1990's. In the last 15 years, my advice practice has encompassed the use of SMSF's as tools for building wealth and retirement planning and accessing a variety of quality investments including real estate. They provide self-directed investors the opportunity to take control and be involved in their future. As a financial planner, this has been very rewarding for me. I am also excited about the potential of SMSF's for succession and estate planning for the next generation.
