Prior to entering the financial services industry in 2006, John held senior management roles in accountancy practices in the taxation and business advisory sectors. In those roles, he gained valuable experience providing strategic commercial and taxation advice to a broad range of business owners, and high net worth individuals and their families. John now uniquely incorporates his accountancy skills into the development of wealth creation and protection strategies. These strategies embody investment advisory services, asset protection and appropriate structuring of business and investment assets, and estate planning measures. John is a Certified Practising Accountant (Specialist in Financial Planning) and an accredited SMSF Specialist Advisor™. He holds a Bachelor of Business degree from the Queensland University of Technology, a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Queensland, and a Diploma in Financial Services (Financial Planning). He is a Member of CPA Australia, the Financial Planning Association of Australia, the Stockbrokers Association of Australia, the SMSF Association, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the Financial Ombudsman Service.
