Summary

A “Kelper” by birth, Roy moved to the UK from the Falkland Islands at the age of 10. Following a 15-year banking career in the UK, Roy migrated with his young family to Australia in 1994. Roy transitioned from Banking to Financial Planning in 1998 and subsequently gained his Financial Planning Diploma, CFP and in 2005 became an Accredited SMSF Specialist. Over 40 years in financial services both here in Australia and the UK has placed Roy in a strong position to assist a wide range of clients across a variety of occupations and professions, as well as the family business owner. Roy believes a trusted advisory client relationship is built and developed, with quality best interest advice, regular check-ins and mutual collaboration. Over time clients will see their dreams evolve and mature so they have a greater certainty to achieve the best possible outcomes. Roy in his spare time is focused on his growing family being blessed with 4 children and 6 grandchildren. Any down time will see Roy looking to escape with a good book. Having recently completed the latest Financial Planning education uplift, Roy is now looking allocate more time to rekindling his love for travel and hiking – this means that a current focus is the pursuance of a wellness and fitness program!
