Summary
After four years working in Sydney for two boutique financial advice companies and a bank, I joined the Hales Douglass team in 2001 to start the Hales Douglass Financial Advice division.
After the first year, I became the managing director/partner. Today I manage and direct the business with a team of seven people, dedicated to sourcing the best financial advice for clients. I also manage the company's own Australian Financial License to ensure we can to tailor information to our clients' best interest only.
Industry Credentials:
I have a double major degree in Economics and Business Law from Macquarie University, and a Diploma of Financial Planning from Deakin University.
I completed my SMSF Specialist Adviser qualifications to ensure I could provide the most effective solutions to my clients to the highest competency in this complicated field of self-managed super funds.
I also completed specialist qualifications as an Estate Planning Specialist Adviser, ensuring the highest competency to safeguard my clients' assets.
Service and Advice Focus:
Our practice is strongly focused on Self-Managed Super Funds for pre and post-retirement planning. We focus on transition to retirement planning, superannuation benefit planning, retirement income streams (pensions), plus maximisation of Centrelink benefits, and estate planning strategies.
With the combined force of the Hales Douglass accounting team, I also ensure the most efficient taxation planning of clients' pre and post-retirement strategic position and investments.
I also focus on proactive wealth creation strategies for people of all ages before retirement, particularly mortgage reduction and geared investment strategies.
